Accessibility Statement

1. Introduction

Bond Local is committed to making our digital marketplace accessible to all users, including people with disabilities. This statement describes our ongoing efforts under Israeli law and international accessibility guidelines.

We operate in accordance with the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities Law, 5758-1998 and related regulations. We strive to adhere to WCAG 2.0 Level AA web content accessibility guidelines where reasonably practicable. We have not yet completed a formal third-party WCAG audit; some areas of the platform may not fully meet every criterion.

Accessibility is an ongoing process. We review pages, components, and integrations regularly to reduce barriers for users with visual, auditory, motor, and cognitive disabilities.

2. Platform Adjustments

The following accessibility practices are implemented across the Bond Local platform:

• Semantic HTML: Meaningful page structure using headings, landmarks, lists, and native form controls.
• Keyboard navigation: Core flows (browse, cart, checkout, account, and support) support keyboard-only operation with visible focus indicators.
• Alternative text & labels: Product cards expose the listing title to assistive technologies via link labels and surrounding context; purely decorative images use empty alt text where appropriate.
• ARIA labels: Icon-only controls, dialogs, and dynamic regions use appropriate ARIA patterns where native semantics are insufficient.
• Color contrast & responsive layout: Mobile-first layouts with touch targets sized for ease of use, and theme options that maintain readable contrast in light and dark modes.
• Right-to-left (RTL) support: Arabic and Hebrew locales use logical spacing and mirrored navigation patterns.

3. In-Site Accessibility Settings

Bond Local includes a built-in accessibility settings panel available from the site footer. Users can adjust text size, high contrast, enhanced focus outlines, and reduced motion without leaving the site or installing third-party software.

Open the panel at any time via the Accessibility Settings control in the footer. A skip link at the top of each page lets keyboard users jump directly to the main content.
